Asus N10 series has established a good position in the notebooks competition around the world. Asus N10 series consist of three models Aus N10E, N10J which we reviewing today and the third one is N10JH. Asus N10 series is no doubt a brilliant notebook to move around with and quiet faster than other notebooks available.

All three models are same in design and build, technical features are also same. But the only and most prominent difference is the multi-sensory experience with a NVIDIA GeForce 9300M graphics card. Asus N10E is the simpler model without any Graphic card, Asus N10J has the Nvidia Geforce9300M and Asus N10JH has both the Nvidia GeForce and the Intel Graphic accelerator to boost your imagery far beyond your expectations.
Starting with the build and design, Asus N10 series manufactured with scratch resistant sheet that hold its gloss even after extended usage. Asus N10 series is enhanced smooth outer with sparkly metal inlaid patterns. It delivers performance with style. All three models Asus N10E, N10J and N10JH have the same outer and interior design and material.

Asus N10 series has the Intel® Atom® Processor N270: 1.6 GHz 533 MHz, On-Die 512K Cache which is quiet common with most of the small notebooks available. It’s good at computing need up to average level that is internet browsing and usual multimedia applications or Microsoft Office applications. But it’s a bit surprising that Asus N10 series is not slow as compare to few other notebook of similar configurations we tested. Main help to Intel Atom to process smooth is the 2GB of DDR Memory. Asus N10series has the right combination so far we tested. Asus N10J has 2.5″ 9.5mm SATA 320GB with 5400rpm fast and plenty of space users get for work and multimedia to save your work and entertainment.

Asus N10 series has 10.2″ WSVGA which is very bright and shiny. Viewing videos and movies is very entertaining on Asus10J is better than N10E, due to NVIDIA® GeForce® 9300M GS with 256MB of VRAM. Graphical experience is outstanding Thou, there are few of the games we tried with loaded graphics which seem a bit slow but for most of the games its a dream come true for gamers who want a small notebook with better graphics. So far this is one of the few or can be said the only netbook available with NVIDIA® GeForce® power. For users who love videos or movies Aus N10J (N10series) screen reflects lots of reflections due to its glossy coating due to bright lights or open environment.

ASUS N10J keyboard is very soft and keys are very light to touch. No matter you want to type for hours or just chatting with your friends it never stress your fingers. Key spacing is sufficient enough to maintain a good typing speed. Asus N10 series is power efficient when it comes to battery life. Asus N10 series feature the Super Hybrid Engine which consists of the Power4 Gear Hybrid application and the Energy Processing Unit. Means no matter what application you are working with it keeps the power at minimal usage to give you more time. With our tests with load and without load on Asus N10J it easily touches the time 3 hours 30 minutes with healthy battery life and it gives 4 hours 50mintues till the battery runs dry.

After running Asus N10J for few hours of testing it quiet impressive that Asus has given out its one of the best small notebook series which contains all the great features. Asus N10J mark as very good as we seen its ability of computing which is surly fast from other small notebooks and netbooks of similar configuration. Asus takes the lead in graphics as it contains the NVIDIA® GeForce® 9300M GS. Aus N10series comes with few of the special features like facial recognition and finger print reader which makes it more superior in small notebooks range. Asus N10J can be said a great deal in a very reasonable price. We rate Asus N10J 8 out of 10.
